Rachel Gillham is a self-taught English artist who has had a lifelong passion for drawing, colouring and all things crafty. She is currently living with her husband, two children and slightly psychotic rescue cat in the smallest rural county in England, along with a Smaug-esque hoard of craft supplies (some of which are for stroking and admiring purposes only). This coloring book has interesting patterns with a variety of pages from easy to difficult. It has crisp, clean lines that aren't blurry and single-sided pages so you don't ruin the pictures on the next page. There are a total of 26 coloring pages plus a colorable nameplate page and 4 blotter pages.It's perfect if you just want to relax and color or you can use the patterned pages you color in other crafts such as scrapbooking or cardmaking.
I wish I could give more stars!! I'm usually not a big colorist of patterns, but this book drew me in, and I was hooked! I loved every single page! Enough that I need to order more of this book so I can color more in different mediums and styles! I'll definitely be buying more of Rachel's books as they are released! Thank you for an amazing book!

I love love love this book!! The author Rachel Gillham has totally outdone herself with her awesome book Plucky Patterns. This awesome book is filled with a nice mix of geometric types of patterns as well as floral patterns. There are a few other neat fun patterns thrown in as well. The pages in this book are very well drawn and the lines are clean. Plucky Patterns has something for everyone. The patterns range from a more simple range to intricate to challenge even the most experienced colorist. I am so excited to finally see this book in print and I can't wait to see all the other amazing things that Rachel will be coming out with. This book is amazing!
It's not to often I buy coloring books. And this is my first pattern book. I have really enjoyed coloring in this book. There is something to be said about coloring repetitive patterns. I found it relaxing and fun. I hope you will check it out.
This is a great take-along book for appointments, meetings, etc. Paper is medium weight, 8 1/2 x 11. Fun designs & something for everyone!
Wonderful book, can't wait to start using my gel pens on this one. One sided pages with lots of margin room to take notes of what colors were used.
There are lots of pattern books out there, but none like the unique Plucky Patterns! The designs are so different from what you normally find, it's a joy by color them!! Rachel hit a home run with her first book! I wish you lots of success & look forward to more books from you!
