I have been anxiously waiting for the next book from this author and she definitely delivered. How could six children (boys) endure tragedy at an early age but come together as a family developing a brotherly bond which they allowed not to be broken. I am looking forward to the next book in this as well as the others to come. Highly recommended.
I loved the New series but I hate that Sheryl went crazy. I hate that Hannah killed everyone and left the boys to fend for themselves. I did not like the fact that Shawn left.i know it's a storyline, but It left me wanting more within the book. I can't wait until the next book in the series. I truly love your writing even though I dislike some parts of the book; it gives a suspense and edge to the book, which is very intriguing.Keep writing!! I love them.
This book had me on the edge all the way through, I can't wait to continue the series. Brenda Barrett is an excellent writer and her stories really pull you in. I laughed, felt sad and happiness. There's enough drama, some romance and comedy. Just hoping to get more of the years between high school and manhood for the brothers. like what happens in college. Keep writing Brenda I will always be a fan and continue to read your series.
I truly enjoy reading all your books. I am also waiting with great anticipation on the completion of this series. Your books always give the opportunity to laugh, cry and identify with real life events. great story line. not too often I am still reading a book at 2 a.m. But, the author needs to do a grammar and punctuaton check. Anothrr annoyance, she will start a chapter talking abiut a character and not tell you which character it is until the 3 or 4 paragraph. Otherwise, cannot wait for the rest if the series.
I am an avid fan of Ms. Barrett and am always excited to learn that she has a new series on the way. While this book spans over a few years, she captured and held my attention throughout. I cannot wait to read each of the brother's individual stories. This book is written well with lots of details and the twists and turns will have you reading with your mouth open!
This book was amazing. I read it in one day because I couldn't put it down. Great story with amazing characters. This book made me laugh but it also made me cry. Oh Lawd it made me cry. I felt their pain jumping off the pages of the book. I cant wait for the next book to this series. This is a must read.
This was an awesome book with some amazing twist and turns, it had me laughing, crying and in totally shock. It was an awesome roller coaster ride for me, great characters and awesome story line very easy to follow and can't wait to read the next book and see how these awesome brothers develop into amazing men.
